In 1992 CVTD started with a simple mission — offer an exceptional, zero fare public transportation system that contributes to the region’s economy, vitality, and sustainability. In that time, our annual ridership has increased from 450,000 to over 1 million. But now we’re going further, going to more places and offering transportation to more people.

Connection has always been at the forefront of our service so it makes sense to adopt that as our new name as we continue to grow. The new Connect logo’s vibrant colors add playfulness and reflect our focus on user-friendly transportation and a welcoming customer experience.
Our new look celebrates what makes us different: you. Where you’ve been; where you’re going next. It is inspired by the millions of people and businesses that use public transportation today. Visualizing the idea that connections and destinations come in all shapes and sizes, and go in all directions. Connection happens everywhere and our new brand illustrates that.
Our vision of connection is the thread that weaves through every touchpoint. The new font, imagery, and brand elements have all been designed to make our public transit experience consistent, whether online, in our apps, or on our vehicles.
Our name and look have changed, but our promise to you hasn’t, to connect you with the people and places that matter most. This new look is only part of the story and you’ll continue to see more brand and service updates being rolled out as time passes.
