Connect Transit is funded by a $0.00325 cent sales tax on purchase made within Connect Transit’s service boundaries from Lewiston to Hyrum.

Yes, Connect Transit partners with several organizations on various projects. Currently Connect Transit is partnering with Cache County on a planning effort, BRAG on a transportation voucher program, Utah State University on multiple projects, and Connect Transit coordinates with cities on transportation planning
The largest demographic riding Connect Transit is the 18 to 35 year old, however, we see every each group riding Connect Transit.
Connect Transit provide paratransit services to persons with disabilities and the elderly through the cites from Lewiston to Hyrum. All of Connect Transit’s vehicles have lifts or ramps making them easily accessible for all. Connect Transit also partners with BRAG to provide a transportation voucher program

The Board continues to support a “Zero Fare” structure because it encourages use of the systems and helps achieve the three-fold purpose of Connect Transit providing access for all, being a resource for reducing congestion, being a resource for improving air quality. “Zero Fare” allows people to not have a car but have dependable transportation for employment, education, shopping etc. The Board tasks management to operate services within the budget allocated from the local and federal funding sources.
Most people have a neighbor, friend or relative that use Connect Transit for something. While you may choose not to use Connect Transit directly, we all benefit from its existence. Connect Transit provides independence for so many individuals in the county such as “an individual’s name with a link to a video of them”

The Loop was created to help connect you with the people and places that matter most. Get to where you want to go without transferring buses. The Loop is Connect Transit’s bi-directional bus route that connects shopping areas on north and south Logan with downtown and USU.
